I've been noticing a lot of tire noise in my Arteon R line and want to reduce it by adding sound deadening material to the doors and under the floor. Before I get started, I need to remove the door panels, but I'm not exactly sure of the best way to do it.
Does anyone have tips or a step by step guide on how to properly take off the door panels without damaging anything? any advice family?

It's pretty simple, first remove all the screws or rivets, then pry the panel, releasing the plastic clips, and here's the part where you need to be super careful... disconnect all wires or connectors, after that, you can lift it off. If you're not sure, you can always find the tutorial on YT

Sorry for joining late. You're right, that's definitely the right order to follow. It helps prevent any damage to the clips or connectors, and it guarantees that you can remove the panel smoothly without any issues each time.

Added soundproofing recently on my 2021 Arteon SEL R-Line. If I may add to the suggestions above, go slow so nothing breaks. Before lifting the panel off, unplug the wires. Each door took me about 30 minutes once I figured it out.
