Overheating issues that come and go

I have bought myself then 2020 VW Arteon SEL Premium R-Line 2.0 Engine, 268 hp. I have had overheating issues that just come and go in the past couple days. The temp exceeds 200 Celsius and then I get a warning, but after I stop, and then I start it but it's ok already. I am not sure why this keeps happening. Is it the same fo ryou guys who own the same make model year? Let me know how to solve this and if I need to bring it to the auto shop.

That temperature level is definitely not normal, 392°F is dangerously high for an engine, ( I dont mean to scare you though), If the issue comes and goes, it could be a sensor glitch, or even likely an actual cooling system problem. Has it ever completely overheated to the point where you had to stop, or does it always cool back down after restarting?

Yeah, it is too high. A sensor glitch, yes, most likely. I feel like this problem usually pertains to a sensory root, so thanks for pointing that out I clearly forgot. No, it has not overheated that much, I just had to stop because I felt like going further would take me to hell.

depends on the case, but if it's overheating, it usually got something to do with the cooling system, like leaks, a broken radiator fan, water pump, or maybe a clogged coolant hose. I think you should check them all just to be sure

Coolant leak, faulty thermostat, radiator fan issue, and several more. you shouldn't delay getting it checked out, the longer you wait, the more damage it might do
