i have an Arteon with 20" rosario wheels but since i have remote heat i didn't get a spare. i got a flat at 350km and now I want a spare wheel. the garage said i can only use an 18" spare. is it safe to drive with three 20" wheels and one 18"?

Hey, the wheel size is not too relevant. That is fine, as long as you get a taller tire with bigger aspect ratio. You have to check out a tire size calculator before you proceed if you want to feel really confident.

the spare is designed to get you out of a pinch, not a long-term driving setup. i say you shouldnt be driving around like that permanently!

thats gonna affect your handling and put extra stress on your drivetrain!

Tempororarily I guess you'd be fine. Logically they have to be in the same size tho.
