Wrong speed

I'm not quite used to all the fancy tech this car has but I've noticed something that has me thinking. The speed detection feature or whatever is it called sometimes mixes up the speed and gives me a different numbers. I've noticed that it happens when a truck or lory has one of those speed stickers on the back. Could this be enough to confuse the system or is it a different kind of a problme?

The system probably reads the numbers on the truck and confuses it with actual speed data, especially if the sticker is big or reflective, If it happens a lot, maybe a dealer check wouldn't hurt, but it's likely just the system misreading the visuals

How does the system actually read speed limits, does it rely more on camera recognition or GPS data in your car?
