Active cruise control of my 2020 Volkswagen Arteon isn’t active

I like to use the ACC, but on my way home last night, the Active cruise control wasn't activated. I tried turning it on through the steering wheel, but nothing happened. Only a popped up message said "Please activate main switch". I have no idea what happened. Is there any suggestion on what I should do before I take it to the repair?

I think you should check if the main cruise control switch might have been turned off, which is why you're getting that message. Have you tried pressing the main ACC button, its usually on the steering wheel to see if it reactivates? If that doesn't work, a quick restart of the car might help. If it still doesn't work, there could be a sensor issue or something messing with the system.
