Need to fix a minor fender bender

While i was parking my arteon i hit the entry to my garage, and did some cosmetic damage to the front bumper. i already ordered a new one and i want to replace it by myself. how can i do that? is it easy or not? i have the 2020 arteon facelift.

with the right tools and some patience its doable. you'll have a handful of bolts and clips to remove before you can take it off the brackets. get one of those tools for removing clips to not damage them in the process. also, dont yank of it and double check you have everything unscrewed and removed before trying to pull it off

Ah, that sucks, replacing the bumper isn't too hard if you've got some basic skills. You'll need to take out screws and clips from the wheel wells, under the car, and near the grill. If you've got sensors, be careful with the wiring. It's not a super quick job, but if you're patient, you should be fine

You need just basic car work skills and you'll be fine! 2 hours tops you'll be done with it. For this I'm p sure there are videos online? But like, I'm not sure if there's specific one for Arteon. Just take extra care next time but if you do it once you'll be ready in case hahaha

It's generally not a super simple "snap-on" job. you need to spend a few hours. The difficulty depends on your mechanical aptitude and how comfortable you are with removing clips, screws, and potentially some sensors.
