Volkswagen Arteon Radio Stuck

i swapped my battery and now my volkswagen arteon's radio is stuck in safe mode.. i heard i need an unlock code.. can i get it online or do I have to go to a dealership?

i think u need to reprogram it. Not an expert but if u cant find any resources on how to do it, can bring it back to the dealer to make sure

If you replace the battery or even just reinstall it, the radio will automatically reset and you'll need an unlock code. Call your dealer.

that's pretty common after a battery swap on VWs. The radio thinks it's been stolen, you'll usually need the unlock code that came with the car and sometimes it's in the owner's manual or on a card in the glovebox. If it's not there, then yeah, dealership is the usual route.

I think it's best to consult with your dealer. I don't touch stuff like this on my own. Not pretty young.

This post has been up a while. I'm pretty sure it's been fixed? Those are glitches that happen when you change your battery. Temporarily only for sure.
