Why is my car is not staying stopped when i take my foot off the brake?

Could be something with the auto hold or maybe just a setting that changed, but hard to say for sure. If it used to keep the car stopped and now it doesn't, maybe something reset or there's a minor issue with the brakes. If nothing seems off, could just be a setting that needs to be turned back on.

Oh, have you checked the brake booster? To do this you just need to turn the engine off and step on the brake. Keep doing so and you have to check the pressure like, if it's getting harder to press but it does not hold well. There might be a leak! You have to get it to the dealership. That's the safest thing/ Otherwise it's a big thing like ABS issue so really you have to check with an expert. Not much we can do from here in the forum unless we feel the way you're pressing your foot on the brake.

before i can do this. No w i dont know what happened
how can i fix this>?
my ex's car had the same case. try co check for brake drag. if there's a squealing or grinding sound when you release the brake pedal, it could be bcs the brake calipers are sticking.

Hmm first things I'd check though, are you using the same gear (drive vs neutral)? and is your parking brake working right? heres what I think, it could be a simple setting or something up with the brake system.

Happened to me. and yep, the culprits are the brake calipers
